I painted Sweet Harvest as a reminder to slow down and savor the goodness of God. There is something beautiful about fruit gathered at its ripest—full of color, sweetness, and the evidence of a season of growth.
Psalm 34:8 is an invitation that I love: “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” It reminds me that God's goodness isn't something we have to experience from a distance. He invites us to recognize it in the simple things—the sweetness of fruit, the changing seasons, a table filled with good things, and the everyday gifts we can so easily overlook.
I wanted this painting to capture that feeling of abundance and gratitude. A harvest is the result of something that has been growing quietly over time, and it reminds me that God is continually providing, even when we don't see the work happening beneath the surface.
