There is something about horses that continually draws me to these quieter moments. They don't need words to communicate comfort or connection. Sometimes simply being near someone you trust is enough to bring a sense of peace.
Numbers 6:24–26 has always felt like such a beautiful blessing: the Lord bless you and keep you. I wanted this painting to carry that same feeling of being held, protected, and surrounded by grace. The horses became a picture of the kindness we are able to give one another because we have first received it from God.
